About Us

We are the Lawson family.  Erick, Laurie, Gabby, Maddy, and Ally. 

Erick and I met in 1997 a day before my 18th birthday.  We had our oldest daughter Gabby in December 1998.  We were married in 1999.

Yes I know we did it backwards, but apparently this was God's plan for us.  We had our 2nd daughter, Maddy, in 2002 and surprise Ally arrived a year later in 2003.  God has brought us down this journey, as crazy as it has been, to this point where He has called us to adopt.


One day all in God's timing we will bring home our son from Ethiopia.
